Who wants to have a winter project?
Elmar Kessler
I have a 1983 XJ6 Series III with 63,000 mls on it, a refurbished tranny, a new upholstery in gray and a rust free straight body.
It drives and breaks and surprisingly everything works (4 electric windows, the electric moon roof).
Originally intended to use the engine and tranny, the IRS, the new interior and other bits and parts, I wonder if not a club member is interested to save the old lady instead.
The burgundy-red paint is shot, oxidized and dull but again there is really not a single spot of corrosion underneath (car came out of SC) and it has title and a clear carfax. I know that Series III do not carry that much value but you do not find rust free examples with only 63,000 mls in the North East very often
So, if anyone is interested to bring her back to live bring  $ 1,000.00 (one-thousand) and she is yours
