British Motorcars of New England in conjunction with the Town of Bristol and Explore Bristol committee presents British Motorcars in Bristol.

Sadly, Brits in Bristol 2029 has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the organizers intend to be back in June 2021. They are hoping to arrange a 'social distancing drive', and have shared the following information with us:

After consulting with the Town of Bristol show committee members, The BMCNE has made the decision that it would not be possible to hold British Motorcars in Bristol this September.  The show will be postponed until June 2021.

The reasons for this decision are numerous and by now all too familiar.. Primary among them the health of the British car fraternity, combined with the fact that The State of Rhode Island continues to place restrictions on large gatherings.

On a positive note!

There will be a scenic, socially distant drive on Saturday September 26th.

We will head out from Colt State Park. Details to follow shortly.

If you have already paid registration fees we will apply them to the 2021 show, or you may request a refund.

NOTE: If you sent a check, it has not been cashed. Due to the present circumstances I simply held on the the checks as it became more more apparent that a large gathering which included travel and food vendors would not be possible.

Start your engines! British Motorcars will be descending on the beautiful seaside village of Bristol, Rhode Island  September 25 and 26th. We invite you to come and explore the charm of beautiful and rustic Bristol, Rhode Island, and all that it has to offer as part of our very special annual event.

The festivities will kickoff on Friday morning with a scenic tour of Southern New England and the Bristol area. You will be back in time to join the British car parade into downtown Bristol for an evening block party with a live band. Saturday is the main event, the all British car show at historic Colt State Park with panoramic views of Narragansett Bay. Take the time to enjoy the best of the New England summer by staying the weekend in one of the areas many lodging offerings.
