CRJCNY Visit to the Northeast Classic Car Museum
Saturday, July 15, 2017 (rain or shine)
24 Rexford St. (NYS Route 23)
Norwich, NY 13815

The Northeast Classic Car Museum has a wonderful collection of 170 classic cars in a lovely 89,000 SF facility located in Norwich, NY. The exhibits range from early electric cars and a Stanley Steamer, to a collection of air cooled Franklin automobiles produced in Syracuse, NY, many pre-war classics, 50s and 60s favorites, police cruisers, and aviation engines. Many of the automobiles are so unique that you might never again see one.
The plan is for members to drive to Norwich at their own pace (meet up with other club members if you want to caravan), and arrive at the museum by 11:45 AM. Plan about 2.25-2.50 hours for the drive from Albany. Each member will pay an $8 admission fee to the museum upon arrival. We will then sit down at noon for a catered lunch (mixed wraps, chips, beverage, salad, cookies and brownies) in the museum’s meeting/events room. Following lunch you can take all the time you like to browse the museum’s extensive collection of classic cars. The return drive home will be at your own pace, perhaps stopping for dinner on your own along the way. We hope you can join us for what will surely be a scenic drive and a wonderful collection visit.
